Community
If you have a Federal Work Study award, you can earn your award by working for any
of our community partners. Positions are posted online at the Job Board, and special
application materials can be obtained by visiting Student Employment Services in Rhodes
Hall 143. Many of our partners, such as the Salvation Army, have their own application
for students to complete as well.
These positions are more than simple volunteering or a feel good position with a
local non-profit. Public service is a legitimate career field, and even if you go
on to work in the private sector, work experience in your community is invaluable!
