Student Employment Services

student work

Student Employment Services is a resource that helps enrolled students find part-time employment opportunities on-campus and off-campus through our network of non-profit partners. A student job is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience and relieve some of the cost of obtaining your degree.

What we offer

Student employment opportunities are open to Columbus State Community College students who are enrolled in three or more credit hours. Some positions are open to all students, while others may require a type of Financial Aid known as Federal Work Study.  Our office can assist you with the following:

- Student jobs on-campus
- Student jobs off-campus with non-profit partners (requires Federal Work Study)
- Counseling on these various employment opportunities
- Federal Work Study advising and eligibility determination
- Guidance and tech support for online Job Board and applications
- Professional development and training for current student employees
- Resume review and interview coaching
