IT Support Center (ITSC)

Any member of the CSCC community can call the IT Support Center (ITSC) for assistance.

Our Mission

The ITSC is a technical support team that provides prompt, knowledgeable, courteous computing support services via walkin, phone, and email. The IT Support Center resolves most incoming issues independently. If we are unable to resolve an issue then we escalate your inquiry to another unit or do our best to provide alternative referrals or resources.

What you can expect

Callers are greeted by an ITSC technician, who will ask for your CougarID number. The technician then enters your CougarID into our database in order to access your account information. This helps us attend to your specific support needs more effectively.

The ITSC technician will address and solve as many issues as possible during the course of your call and provide you with pertinent information or referrals if the situation cannot be resolved by the ITSC technician.

Should it be determined that the issue requires a additional assistance from another area within the college, a work order will be created and assigned appropriately.

Emergency vs. standard requests

A service call is escalated to emergency status when the information technology related issue impedes mission critical functions.

Response time

Standard, non-emergency requests will be responded to within 1 business day. Emergency requests will be responded to within 4 hours of the call.

Holiday/quarter break emergency support

ITSC staff will retrieve voice mail as often as possible. If the reported issue is mission critical and requires emergency support, an ITSC technician will return your call and attempt to solve the issue over the phone. If the issue requires additional assistance, we will assign it appropriately.
