Our Mission

The mission of Diversity and Study Abroad Programs is to support Columbus State Community College students as well as faculty, staff administration and the greater community through the promotion of cultural awareness, inclusive initiatives, and global education.  

Statement of Diversity

Diversity and Study Abroad Programs is committed to the recognition and value of the entire college community which includes but is not limited to persons of differing race, color, age, gender, gender identity and expression, religion, sex, or national origin, sexual orientation, pregnancy, disability, and veteran status.  The Diversity, Study Abroad and TRIO Programs Department demonstrates its commitment to diversity and inclusion by support of the college’s mission to educate diverse learners and serve as a catalyst for creating and fostering linkages throughout the institution and the greater Columbus community.
