Your academic advisor is based on your program of study and quarter of enrollment. Academic Advisors see students already admitted to Columbus State.
New Students
Most new students must take the COMPASS Placement Test to determine where they place in reading, writing, and/or math. Find out if you need to take the COMPASS test. Following the COMPASS test, students will go to Post-COMPASS advising.
Students on Academic Restriction
Please call 614-287-5353 to set up an appointment to meet with your academic advisor and have your registration restriction lifted.
Students beyond their first quarter at Columbus State
- Associate of Arts or Associates of Science degree - designed to easily transfer to most colleges and universities in order to complete their respective four-year degree requirements.
- Associate of Technical Studies
- Taking a few courses at CSCC to transfer to another college or university.
- Career and Technical Programs - including Business and related programs, Engineering Technologies and Health, Human and Public Service programs - designed to prepare students for employment upon graduation.
- Delaware Campus students
- Taking classes at one of Columbus State's Off-Campus Centers (Delaware, Dublin, Southeast, Westerville).
