K-12 Programs
In addition to our college and workforce training programs, Columbus State offers a variety of programs aimed at K-12 students. High school and homeschool students can earn college credit prior to their high school graduation. Students with Career and Technical high school programs can also receive college credit through their program. Our Educational Talent Search and First Tee programs provide learning opportunities for K-12 students.
Get college credit or job training while in high school
- Underage Student Enrollment (USE) - Post Secondary Enrollment Options, Selfpay High School or Selfpay Homeschool: These programs allow high school and home school students to enroll in college classes.
- High School Articulation: Many students in a Career & Tech or Tech Prep high school program qualify to receive high school credit for their studies.
- OTAP: Orientation to Trades and Apprenticeships: Prepares high schoolers and youth for an apprenticeship in skilled trades such as carpentry or welding.
K-12 Enrichment Programs
- Upward Bound: Prepares low-income high-schoolers for college work.
- Educational Talent Search: Prepares middle-schoolers or high school dropouts for college work.
- First Tee: Teaches golf and life skills to K-12 students.
