The First Tee of Columbus is committed to impacting the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
The First Tee of Columbus (TFTC) encourages youth to succeed and contribute to their future as well as to society. Serving central Ohio youth, TFTC offers professional instruction, access to a nine-hole golf course, driving range, and development workshops at our newly renovated indoor training facility.
In an atmosphere where learning is exciting, youth are assisted in the process of developing these traits through peer group-learning, course play, range practice, instructional clinics, motivational workshops, event exposure and educational components. Youth develop a sense of respect, acceptance and confidence by being exposed to the etiquette expected on the golf course and the history of a game.
TFTC staff is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse, educational and supportive program that promotes self-discipline, honesty, integrity, motivation and excellence. TFTC is administered through Columbus State Community College’s K-12 Initiatives.
The Columbus State Community College Bridgeview Golf Course & Driving Range is pleased to be home to The First Tee of Columbus. The First Tee Columbus program affiliate sites include Safari Golf Club, Bent Tree Golf Club and The Golf Depot at Central Park.
