Governor appoints three members to Columbus State Board of Trustees
Governor John Kasich has announced three appointments to the Columbus State Community
College Board of Trustees. Each trustee term runs through August 31, 2017.
Jami S. Dewolf is the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Integration at Victoria’s Secret. She started with the Limited Brands retailer in 1998. Previously, she held key leadership positions with the Pepsico Corporation and Nabisco Corporation. Ms. Dewolf earned a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Louisville and a bachelor of science from The Ohio State University.
Valoria C. Hoover has been an attorney and partner with the law firm of Kohrman Jackson & Krantz since
2001. Previous positions included special counsel to the Ohio Attorney General and
consultant to the Ninth District Court of Appeals. She was also an adjunct legal writing
instructor at The Ohio State University. Ms. Hoover graduated from the University
of Dayton School of Law, and she holds a bachelor of arts degree from Miami University.
Michael Flowers is being reappointed to the board. His first six-year term expired in August. Mr.
Flowers is Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel at KBK Enterprises. He has a bachelor
of science degree from Bucknell University and a juris doctorate from The Ohio State
University College of Law.
"Trustee Flowers has been a great advocate for student access and attainment at Columbus State," says Dr. David Harrison, Columbus State President. "We're pleased that his service will continue. The leadership experience of Ms. Dewolf and Ms. Hoover will be valuable additions to our board of trustees. I look forward to working with them to help Columbus State meet the higher education needs of our region."
